Mary Rife, in her blown fuel hydro, powered by a Keith Black 426 hemi, set a record of 206.42 mph in Tulsa, Oklahoma on the Arkansas River. She is the first woman to drive a boat over 200 mph. She went on to win the National Drag Boat Association nationals in 1978.
