Chrysler’s concept car, the turbine-powered Dodge Turbo Dart completed its experimental 3,100 cross-country run. George Huebner and his team left New York City on December 27, and arrived in Los Angeles at 10:25 P.M. on December 31. The ran it on white gasoline, leaded gasoline, JP-4 (military jet fuel) and diesel fuel, with diesel giving the best mileage.
