Chrysler released a Parts Information Bulletin to all of its dealers about the production of a 413 cubic inch (410 hp) engine for special performance Plymouths and Darts. A heavy-duty three-speed transmission, optional high performance automatic transmission and other parts for racing or acceleration trials were also available. The bulletin included a list of part numbers specific to Plymouths and Dodges with this engine.
